Tufton Hall Waterfall

tuftonIt’s amazing in an island only 24 miles by 12 that a new waterfall should be discovered in the last few years but it’s true.

Seven Sisters Waterfall

Lower two of the seven waterfalls

It’s a 45 minute hike through the rain forest and through a private plantation where cocoa, nutmeg and banana trees are grown.

Paraclete Waterfall

It’s a good hour hike to get to Paraclete falls in the parish of St. Andrew but, when you get there, you can take a shower directly under the waterfall itself which is akin to standing next to an open fire hydrant.

Concord Waterfalls

concordConcord is not one, but three waterfalls. At the edge of the nature reserve on the west of the island, the first one is the most readily accessible with a road leading to it.

Annandale Waterfall

This is one of the easiest waterfalls to get to, though not one of the largest, with a well-tended path from the nearby road, which is lined with local fruit trees and flowering plants.

Royal Mt. Carmel Waterfall

mt_carmelSituated two miles south of Grenville, and also known as the Marquis Falls, this is the highest on the island, with two falls cascading over 70 feet into the pools below.
